The design of the automation concept is as flexible as possible. Whereas several machines, semi-automatic machines and manual workstations were previously necessary, all processes are now integrated into just one system.
Contexo's goal was to fully automate the assembly of various products in different quantities. Because of the high variance, automation for just one product would not be economical. With the assembly cell, even one-off production is now efficiently feasible.
